Thank you for coming to Parke County. We hope that your stay will be enjoyable. We hope also, that you realize that this camping area is not a permanent year-round facility. We have a few simple rules that must be followed.

DO NOT MOVE TO ANOTHER SITE UNTIL YOU CHECK IN AT THE CAMPING OFFICE.

 

1.     No displays or selling of any type of merchandise is permitted.

2.     Under no circumstances will water hoses be allowed to remain connected.            Fill tanks and park.

3.     Each camping unit is allowed only the area in each lot purchased.

4.     Only one unit per lot (no extra tents, etc…)

5.     Campers with generators will be confined to one area.

6.     No phone calls from community building office.

7.     Emergency phone numbers are available from office or one of the camping          directors.

8.     Please place trash in dumpster behind community building or next to                    shower house.

9.     No campsites will be held, first come first serve.

10.  A maximum of 8 campers per tent site.

11.   ALL PETSmust be on a leash and please clean up after your pet.

12.  Please respect your neighbors as to excessive noise at night.

13.  Camp fires are NOT permitted in or around buildings.

14.  Dump station is located on northwest corner of the circle.

15.  Showers are located on the southwest lot.

16.   Not responsible for any unit left unattended at any time!!

17.  If there is an “occupied” sign in a camping spot, that spot is already sold and         occupied.

18.  Only one (1) receptacle per camp site.

19.  Do not turn lights on in barns!!

20.  NO REFUNDS

 

We realize that you may not agree with some of our rules. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please make your comments known to us and we’ll try to resolve the problem!

We give no refunds!!

The camp directors are in complete charge of this area and their decisions and directions are final!  Not responsible for accidents or for accidents of property damage that may occur on the 4-H fairgrounds or damage from electrical or voltage surges.
